Wandering

The moon can’t slow it down,
So the sun can’t make it move.

The man can’t take a hand,
So the woman can’t open in her.

The sea can’t sail this heart,
So the salt still burns right through.

The rain can’t wash him away,
And the air can’t lift him up.

The sky can’t cover those eyes,
The clouds can’t catch this life.

And the stars can’t hold my wish,
So this soul still wanders by.
